We are delighted to host talented singer, songwriter and guitarist Corina Piatti to provide live music for us at the Milonga Abierta Xmas Party. Corina performed for us at our 2019 Summer Ball, and we look forward to welcoming her back to perform for us again in December. About Corina PiattiBorn in Argentina, Corina has been been singing and songwriting since she was a child, starting playing at 18, and studying at The Sebastian Piana Institute in Buenos Aires and The London Centre of Contemporary Music, LCCM, in London. Along her music journey through Argentina, Brazil, Spain, France and the U.K., Corina has worked in multiple projects, including Tango 44, Los Mareados, Los Piantados, Simple Tango, Warmi, and many more. In 2016 she produced and released “Calma”, her first album. We are very happy to host Corina at our Xmas party, she is a stunning performer, and we hope you can come and enjoy the evening with us. |

Our 2018 dates and themes are as follows:
Apsley Community Centre is a large hall, with a great atmosphere including a lovely dance floor, and full facilities, and plenty of free parking nearby.
Apsley Community Centre, London Road, Apsley, Hemel Hempstead, Herts HP3 9SB.
From London: take the M25 to Junction 20, then take the A41 exit to Hemel Hempstead / Aylesbury. Take the A41 north for approx 2.5 miles, then take the A414 Hemel exit. Turn right at the roundabout towards Hemel (A414). At the lights, turn right onto the A4251. Follow the A4251 for 0.5 miles and the Community Centre is on the left. Turn left onto Durrants Hill Road for parking.
From the North: take the A41 south, then take the A414 Hemel exit, and follow instructions as above.
There is some on-street parking near the venue, and there is plenty of free parking on the local car park on Durrant's Hill Road, just past the venue (1 minute walk).
Apsley railway station is approximately 0.5 miles from the Community Centre. From the train station, turn left and walk up the A2251, and the centre is on your right.
