LearningTango is a business partnership and this page will inform you of the terms & conditions of using the LearningTango website.

LearningTango provides the services of: private dancing tuition, social dancing event organisation, guest teaching and tango event DJ services. All of the services listed above are done only in person and not remotely.

To become a client of LearningTango you must contact them directly (through the contact details available on the website). Payment is accepted in the form of cash, card or bank transfer, which will be taken on the day. Payments are made per-lesson, there are no package deals or term bookings.

Cancellation notice period

Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for a refund or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may not be eligible for refunding or rescheduling.

If David or Ann need to cancel

Whatever suits the student — reschedule, refund, or credit, decided case by case.

Assumption of risk statement

By taking part in tuition or social event dancing from LearningTango you are participating at your own risk and should disclose any relevant health conditions beforehand. LearningTango also holds personal liability insurance covering accidents and injuries.

Age / fitness / health disclosure

There is no minimum age or fitness requirement. LearningTango has extensive experience teaching all ages and fitness levels and teaching is personalised accordingly.

Public events

Any photos taken at public events are for public distribution and may appear on the LearningTango Facebook group.

Private classes

Photos/videos taken at private classes are only ever shared with the students in that class — not used publicly.

The syllabus available on the website is used to help teach students and should not be reused nor taught anywhere else.

Governing law

The governing law that LearningTango follows is of England & Wales.

Complaints

Clients should contact LearningTango directly first, using the same contact details as can be found elsewhere on the website, before any formal/regulatory route. If you feel Learning Tango has not addressed your concern satisfactorily, you may contact the Citizens Advice consumer helpline whose information can be found below.

Purpose: provides free, confidential and impartial advice on consumer issues including services that have not been carried out with reasonable care and within a reasonable time or for an acceptable price, and acts as a channel to allow clients to report potential breaches of legislation or industry regulations, or unfair trading practises, to Trading Standards.
